Art for everyone by everyone

A good excuse for some nibbles tonight at the private view for Courtyard Art's exhibition "Canvas 25". Various artists of all ages and experiences have entered and I can't wait to see what our Hertford art scene has to offer. It cost £10 to buy a canvas, you can put whatever you like on it and then it gets displayed for sale at £40 with profits going to charity. Great excuse to get funky with a quick painting. I joined in with this little guy above. I loved how local foliage had bright red tips to its leaves and definitely enjoyed busting out some bright bright pigments that I usually tread lightly with.
